Histories of our employees

I have been working with MTS since 1993. I began with the position of construction and exploitation of base station electrician in Kharkiv and Summy regions. Now I am taking the position of the leading engineer of “Quality” group and working on the improvement of the connection quality in the same regions.

Our company is fast developing and the work is very interesting. Working 14 years I have gained the great work experience with the equipment of such brands as Siemens, Nokia, Ericsson, Hans Damm, have been to many cities  and abroad. I have got a lot of friends.

Working for MTS Ukraine for me it is an example of the situation when you can come to work to the company and stay there 10 years in a row. The bright example of the situation when you can come to work to the company in the 18 year old age, with no work experience and stay there 10 years in a row. It is when an employer tries to fulfill his commitments beside of an employee despite of the fact that for Ukrainian job market such attitude is very seldom.

It is an example of the company when you are hired not because you know the “right people”. This is the company which set the service standards and working culture standards. That is the place where my consumer experience changed because I realized that there is a different way. Now I judge from that point of view.

I started with the position of a representative of Kiev Center Information Services where I had a task to provide the subscribers with all necessary information. In a while I was offered the position of a chief of Telemarketing group and it was my first supervising experience. We were making calls to offer the clients new services, tariffs and to find out their opinion on the company’s service quality.

For improvement of the service level the company opened the new Service Center in Dnipropetrovsk and I got a chance to head it. It was not easy because I was responsible for more than 600 hundred workers.

In 2005 we got the separate Sales and Services Department. The Subscribers’ Services Department was created and now I am heading it. It involves four Subscribers’ Services Centers in Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk.

I have been working with the company since April, 1998. My initial position was the engineer of network architecture planning and commutation equipment. The next step in my career was working in IT department, the support group of informational system users. At the beginning of 2002 I was assigned on the position of leading computer system engineer and starting in October 2005 I headed the software support department.

When they ask me why I have been with the company for so long and if I want to change the job I answer that every day I find something interesting in it. Working 10 years with UMC I have grown along with it, have learned a lot and worked a lot.

I came to work to the company in December, 1997 taking a position of an assistant of the East territorial administration director when there were not more than 50 staff members. What does it mean the director’s assistant? It is not only mail and reception. It is a center through which the different information, the boss’s tasks, the employee’s problems and interests run. It is paperwork, human recourses, contacts with the other organizations and creativity. For the people who worked with me and continue to work the main thing is always to get help and the necessary information which I have.

In the fall, 2006 I realized that I want to continue my studying. That is why I started to get the second higher education on the “Human recourses and labor economy” department. At that time I joined the HR team and moved to Kiev. The job that I was offered was very similar to the job which I had in Donetsk, the difference was only in work loads. My big working experience in the company, my knowing of the colleagues and business processes was very useful. I started with the position of HR expert and now I am a leading expert of the “Interior communications and social benefits” separated department.

I see my future with MTS and I like my job. I have a grown up son who will be looking for a job soon. I hope he will get his work experience in my company.

I began to work with MTS (UMC at that time) in 2004. My career started with the position of expert which later turned to human recourses expert. Now I am the chief of the human recourses group.

I am a drummer and after work play in the rock group “Schastya”.
