in the future specialists training for their employability enhancing.

The mission of ICU is a new generation of professionals formation. The project aim is to create adaptive system of knowledge management and HEI undergraduates training enhancing, both technical and humanities disciplines in order to forming theirs managerial and communication skills (soft skills) which are needed by enterprises.

The ICU key task is academic programmes developing, training students and internships carrying out

to meet modern business and real labor market situation requirements.

Intercorporate University is a Member of World Association for Cooperative Education (WACE) and European Association for International Education (EAIE).

3. IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

Intercorporate University project implementation consist of the three phases:

1) 2009-2010 years – local implementation in Kyiv HEI (pilot project);

2) 2010-2011 years – implementation in some regions;

3) 2011-2013 years – nationnwide dissemination.

In September 2009, ICU officials started to implement the project first phase, which was included enterprises project partners questionnaire conducting in order to identify future personnel needs and their skills required.

The research identified the enterprises’ list of required vacancies, including needed competencies and training programme developed.

Meetings with the HEI undergraduates project partners were held, among them National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» and Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. Students were told about the project, the selection requirements and Intercorporate University training programmes.

The process of applicants intake consisted of two phases: the first – tests and business cases decision, the second – Interview with students showed the best results during the first phase.

The first group was composed of 14 HEI undergraduates. From October to December 2009 ICU students successfully passed the programme, which included three trainings with the most needed skills and the enterprises’ internships.

In February-March 2010 the new groups of students will be intake.
