Corporate social responsibility of MTS-Ukraine company

IMPORTANT! We do not consider Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as the peripheral activity connected with disposable cash injections when management of social projects is under construction on the principle of the rest on the basis of emotions.

MTS-Ukraine - the telecommunication company. We work in backbone and most dynamic sector of the economy which development in many respects defines state of Ukrainian economy as a whole, and influences on people living standards. At the same time, activity of our company as a matter of fact is socially directed. Therefore we do not consider company activity separately from society, and we pay great attention to Corporate Social Responsibility, as to one of the inherent aspects of life-sustaining activity of MTS-Ukraine company.

MTS-Ukraine considers Corporate Social Responsibility as the effective business tool which is the important component of our strategy and is planned for the future as well as any strategically important direction of the company activity.

We consider that CSR is the possibility to enclose means which are earned by the company, and technologies which it owns, in business of the actual problems decision for society. Therefore we build long-term target strategy of the company activity in CSR direction proceeding from such principles:

All products, services and company business practice should correspond to the highest quality standards and to be as the phrase goes «friendly for consumers» at the level of the company operational activity.
The Company should carry out steadily the obligations to employees, suppliers, partners.
At the needs level of society the company activity should satisfy not only interests of direct consumers of services and also needs of other people communities whether they are MTS subscribers or not.
MTS occupies an active position: we do not wait for requests for the help, we purposefully form the activity, acting as the initiator of social projects in the most actual life spheres for society (education, increase of Ukraine scientific potential, medicine development, especially in the regions remote from cities, sports and healthy life promotion among the Ukrainian youth).
The projects are based on advanced technologies, exclusive services and the possibilities, which MTS as the modern highly technological company, has at command.
Social projects should be significant for society and directed on the decision of actual problems. We necessarily consider problems which face to the state, and we are geared to real people needs.
The advanced form of activity in CSR direction we consider partner projects in which there is a possibility to unite resources, technologies and experience of the commercial companies, the public and professional organizations and the state structures. We try to apply this principle in all social projects.
Projects should be system and long-term that allows to analyze efficiency of the projects, to apply measures to increase efficiency to develop and expand projects.
We essentially do not invest means in promotion and advertising of our social initiatives because we consider such expenses unjustified. Each copeck which we invest in project realization works on purpose achievement of the project.
